I was referred to Dr Mavec by my regular dentist regarding a tooth that was sensitive to hot and cold temperature changes. Kim arranged an appointment time to fit my schedule. I was seated on schedule and greeted by Dr Mavec’s assistant. After xrays, Dr. Mavec diagnosed an issue after which he performed a root canal that was painless. The office was clean with updated equipment and a friendly staff. Highly recommend in all aspects.

A comfortable and friendly atmosphere. The tooth had 4 nerves and it took some time to complete the procedure. I have a problem with my jaw locking up. I didn't know It had locked up until the assistant told me I could close it and it would not close. The doctor assisted by helping me get my mouthed closed. It took awhile for the numbness to wear off. I took 400mg of Advil and I haven't had any pain or problems since the procedure. Dr. Mavec and his staff are very professional and hopefully I was a good patient.

Dr. Mavec and staff operate a very professional office. Although initially nervous, I felt very comfortable with the expertise and assistance provided during my procedure.

Over the course of 10 years or more I have had to have several root canals in which Dr. Mavec has completed each one. Dr. Mavec and his staff have always performed their services with the highest level of professionalism and care. I don’t usually write reviews but I know how much I rely on reviews before selecting providers and wanted to provide a real experience. I am extremely particular with my teeth and whole heartedly recommend Dr. Mavec. He is very knowledgeable and has a passion for what he does. The process is explained in detail both before and after the procedure. His assistants are very considerate and check on you each step of the way. You are given headphones to relax in their gentle massaging chair to watch the overhead tv. I actually wish Dr. Mavec also did general dentistry as well! There is no pain aside from the shots to numb you. I am grateful for his consistency, integrity and professional service over the years.

I can not say enough about this office! I was in New Orleans when I developed a toothache. I called Kim and she had the doctor phone me in a prescription and tried to find me an endodontist there in case I needed one. She scheduled me an appointment as soon as I got back. Dr Mavec did some extensive testing and determined it was not the tooth i thought! Unfortunately it was a wisdom tooth with multiple fractures and could not be saved! So grateful for in finding this out and to his friendly staff for making my visit comfortable! Love Dr Mavec and his staff!! I would highly recommend them!

What a great experience. After the initial novacaine was given, I felt no pain. The worst part is having to keep your mouth open for so long. I even had a back massager going in the chair while undergoing my root canal. Friendly staff, considerate to all my needs, can't wait till my next one. (Only kidding)

Received root canals on two teeth, procedure lasted for approximately two hours. Staff and doctor continually asked me if everything was alright and if I was okay and did I need anything. I have had two root canal procedures done at this practice in the past 7 years and both experiences were great. The treatment was fast and painless and the recovery has been quick and without complications both times. I would highly recommend Dr. Mevac to anyone in need of this type of procedure. Additionally; I was provide an accurate estimate of my out of pocket expense, so when it came time to pay...I paid that exact amount. There were no surprises...which is nice!
