Dr. Joseph Mavec did a second root canal procedure on molars #18 and #31 due to them failing rather quickly by another endodontist at the first attempt. I am a former public servant and had a habit of grinding my teeth. This was over ten years ago, but a general dentist and a periodontist commented recently on the genius and skill it took to save my molars due to their unusual multiple branches at the end. One said Dr. Mavec is brilliant, and another said his work belongs in a textbook. I am not one to write reviews, but I believe Dr. Mavec deserves this one.

Beautiful pleasant office and surroundings and they even have headphones and a TV on the ceiling to watch. I liked that it was professional, the staff are pleasant, quick and accurate and the appointments are kept on time. If you have to get a root canal, this is the place to go. Dr. Mavec was pleasant too and quick!! Easy peasy.

I hate needles! I was expecting to be down for a day or two. I came out of the procedure with only the soreness of the numbing shots. Dr. Mavec has a true talent and his staff is first class. I don't expect to ever have this procedure again, but if I do it will be done by Dr. Mavec! Semper Fi!

They used this plastic sheeting with a hole & brace that isolated the trouble tooth. Wow... besides the drooling I had in my mouth under the sheeting, when they sprayed water or drilled I had NO debris from it! It was a bit uncomfortable to get on at first, but once on - it was AWESOME! Every dentist should use this. 🙂 Very pleased with my appt. Thank you! But as nice as it was... I hope I never have to get a root canal again (hahaha 🙂 Thank you!

Dr. Mavec and his staff are the best at what they do! I had to get a root canal on a tooth that had a brand new porcelain crown on it and I was so worried it would get damaged. Dr. Mavec not only kept my crown in perfect condition but he also made what could have been a terrible experience such an easy, pain free, and quick one! Even the way to pay for your procedure is easy! They sent me a text with a link and I could pay and receive conformation on the spot or in the comfort of my own home. I feel so much better now and it’s all because of this team. I would highly recommend Dr. Mavec to everyone!

My overall experience with the entire office staff was something you just don’t see any longer these days. I was beyond anxious and they did everything possible to calm my fears. Everyone at Ponte Vedra Endodontics took extra care to ensure I was comfortable. From the massage dental chair to headphones to help me concentrate on anything except what was happening in my mouth ensured I had a great experience, considering why i was there. Due to previous experIences, I was very anxious about having a Root Canal procedure. Dr. Mavec and his amazing staff made me feel very comfortable. He was very gentle during the procedure and made sure I was comfortable during the entire process. The entire procedure took about an hour and half and that's because it took a little longer to get me numb. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Mavec and his staff. You're in great hands with Dr. Mavec. Would I recommend him? Absolutely!
