Excellent experience (especially for a root canal) for our daughter and the parents. Our daughter was very apprehensive about the procedure, and she let Dr. Mavec know it. She was made extremely comfortable and relaxed with Dr. Mavec's reassuring manner. In addition, for positive distractions, she had a television, headphones, sunglasses and a warming blanket. Next best thing to a spa. She did not experience any discomfort during the procedure. This was our first time with Dr. Mavec. We wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Mavec and his staff!

I needed 2 old root canals re-done and was very nervous. Both done at the same time with a little xanax and I fell asleep during the procedure. I did not need any pain meds after. The anticipation was much worse then the procedure. I highly recommend DR. Mavec and staff, especially for nervous patients.

The Endodontist was friendly, fast, and efficient. He and the Assistant kept light banter much of the time which was relaxing to me. The massage chair kept me quite comfortable. It appeared the office was outfitted with the best and latest equipment and was handled very professionally. My procedure was done with surprisingly little discomfort, and was completed much more quickly than I anticipated. Overall, a good experience.

This was my first root canal & to say I was nervous & apprehensive is an understatement. The entire staff treated me with so much care & respect that it made my visit not only bearable but enjoyable!!! I was so comfortable watching TV, snuggled in a warm blanket that I didn’t even notice how long it took. For what has a reputation for being a horrible dental procedure (root canal), it wasn't so bad. The office has massage chairs, TV and headphones which combined with great staff who explain everything all helped to relax me. Dr. Mavic worked quickly, and it was all completed without much discomfort

Dental assistant provided an excellent overview of the procedure and ensured that I was comfortable before the Dr. Mavec arrived. He also reviewed the procedure and asked if there were any questions. He performed the root canal in a short time and I experienced no pain during or after. No need for the prescribed pain medicine. Dr. Mavec heads an excellent endodontic team.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mavec since 2005 and had probably at least 15 root canal treatment at his office. Whereas I had some issues with the work of other endodontists, which led often to apicoectomies or extractions, I can only speak extremely highly of the quality and diligence of his work as well as of his expertise. None of his root canal treatments have ever failed.
